Opto-Mechanics

The product range comprises a combination of newly developed and well-established products to enable mounting of any optical component, including mirrors, prisms, lenses, polarisers, fibre optics and filters, and manual micropositioners.

Ealing offers three different ranges of Manual Micropositioners – MicroMech™, MiniMech™ and MacroMech™.

Linear Stages provide a wide choice of travel from 6.5 mm with micrometer-driven MicroMech Stages to 50 mm with micrometer-driven MacroMech stages.

Rotary Stages offer a full 360-degree coarse travel range and a minimum of 5 degrees fine calibrated adjustment. Tilting Stages provide either single or two-axis tilt up to a range of 10 degrees, depending on unit size.

Tilt and Rotation Stages combine two axes of tilt with an axis of rotation over a 5-degree range.

All Ealing mounting hardware is designed to fit on to its range of Optical tables, Breadboards and Rails.

Please see below individual products and summary pages that can be viewed as extracts from the Ealing Catalogue.

Beam Steering Devices

This new beam steering assembly is based on low cost standard components from the range of hardware and mirror mounts. This makes it extremely affordable and very flexible in its application.

MORE INFORMATION

Mounted Iris Diaphragm

This range of Mounted Iris Diaphragms are lever operated and offer a continuous variable diameter aperture in a range of four sizes.

MORE INFORMATION

Prism Tables and Platforms

The new Ealing Kinematic prism and cube beamsplitters mounts provide angular adjustments to allow precise alignment of prisms and beamsplitters in optical systems.

MORE INFORMATION

Rectangular Apertures

Rectangular Apertures can be used to define the boundaries of an optical path or to mask out specific areas in an optical system, for example on a test target, monochromator, CCD or a detector.

Mirror Mounts

How they fit together.

MORE INFORMATION

Kinematic Mirror Mounts

Kinematic Mirror Mounts are designed to accept round, front surface mirrors or beamsplitters of either 76.2mm (3 inch) or 101.6mm (4 inch) diameter.

MORE INFORMATION

Precision Mirror Mounts

Ealing Precise Mirror Mounts are designed to accept round, front surface mirrors or beamsplitters of up to 50.8mm (2 inch) maximum diameter.

MORE INFORMATION

Precision Thin Optics Mounts

Precise Thin Optic Mounts are very similar to the standard Precise mirror mounts except these are designed specifically to accept thin, round, front surface mirrors or beamsplitters.

MORE INFORMATION

Top Adjust Mirror Mounts

A unique high resolution adjustment system with vertically-mounted controls makes these kinetic mirror mounts particularly valuable for use where access is restricted or where it is necessary to keep the operator's hands away from the optical path.
